It was announced today that actor, James Franco, will be guest starring on the ABC soap "General Hospital", beginning November 20 during the all-important sweeps. I have loved him since his days as Daniel on "Freaks and Geeks", but of course, he is also known for playing James Dean in the bio-pic as well as his roles in "Spiderman" (he was Harry) and the loveable stoner in "Pineapple Express".
Love him!
Executive producer Jill Farren Phelps says it's "an honor that an actor of Franco's caliber would choose to spend some of his valuable time in Port Charles."

He's amazing. I do find it strange though that someone of his stature would go from Oscar worthy roles to...a soap opera? Hmmm...
I love my soap! It was shocking, however, to hear that he was going to join for a 2 month stint.
Desiree, maybe he is doing it as research for another role? Or maybe he really does want to try all facets of acting? I know, an odd path for him to choose! But I am not complaining!!! :)
Michelle, I know you love, love, love GH!!! I am going to have to start watching it more faithfully.
Oh by the way, he is supposedly doing research for a role he is going to be filming next year.
