I am not dead, just busy!! I have several ideas for posts, plus two awards to accept (thanks Natalie and Lucy!), and pictures to upload. Summer is great, sometimes too great because it gets so crazy. I am dog sitting for the next two weeks so I am sure that will really keep me busy. I am also reading a book I have just fallen in love with, "The Girls from Ames". I picked it up at Target on a whim because I needed something to read while I work out (yes, I read while doing the elliptical and stationary bike, I am not all hardcore & sweaty about exercise!) and I absolutely LOVE it. Has anyone else read it?
I just did a really long update at my other blog. Be sure to stop by there and I will be back here SOON. Don't forget to enter my Blog Giveaway over at the other little blog.
Happy Weekend!!

I've heard of that book, and while I haven't read it, its definitely been on my to-read list
I have and LOVED it! Having gone to college in Ames, made it that much better. Id read it again in a heart beat
hiya luv! omg-how do you work out and read? I can't do it. i would fall off the machine! I can't tell you how many times I have tripped or fallen on the treadmill mid run because I am so into my music on my ipod. i am just NOT coordinated. I do get sweaty though:/ regardless i need to get my tail back to the gym!
its just so busy right now. grr. sometimes I think that summer is busier than fall or winter!

OF COURSE I have read The Girls of Ames! It's so good!!! :)
I read it last summer while on vacation with my 'girls.' I loved it, and I tried to get them to read it, too, but they weren't interested. Shame -- it's a great read!
One of the girls is a friend of mine down here in Northfield
Oh, my gosh, are you kidding?? Is that Kelly? I left my book at work and I wanted to read it some more tonight. I am so bummed. The elliptical without my book.
I have not heard of or read, but may need to check it out now. I did just get Tori's new book (that I had not even heard about yet) and it may me think of you...have you picked it up yet?
